The Department of Health and the Health Protection Agency recommend the use of Chlorine in the fight against diseases such as Clostridium Difficile, MRSA, Salmonella, E.Coli, and viruses which include Influenza, Hepatitis and HIV. Chloricide Chlorine Tablets based on a dry chlorine donor called sodium dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC) which is blended with effervescent components.

Common liquid bleach utilises the hypochlorite chlorine donor. The difference between the two is that the dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC) tablet produces over three times the antibacterial killing power of hypochlorite liquid bleach. It also has considerably more advantages than liquid bleach.
